Associate Matthew Mueller Joins Graves Garrett

Graves Garrett is pleased to announce the addition of associate Matthew Mueller, who will support the firm’s commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense and free speech, campaign finance and election law practice groups.

Mueller brings to the firm previous experience in various complex litigation matters, including plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, insurance defense, and criminal defense.

“We’re excited to welcome Matthew to the firm,” said Todd Graves, partner at Graves Garrett. “Early in his career, he has already established valuable experience that will help us better serve our clients.”

Prior to joining the firm, Mueller was a law clerk at a regional plaintiff’s personal injury and criminal defense firm as well as a regional insurance defense firm, where he assisted in all stages of preparation of cases for trials, mediations and arbitrations.

Mueller earned his law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law, where he participated in the Mizzou Law Veteran’s Clinic. In addition to advocating for veterans throughout the process of appealing denied claims, Mueller helped to write and edit a petition for writ of certiorari to the United States Supreme Court.

Mueller graduated magna cum laude from Truman State University, where he was named the Outstanding Undergraduate in Justice Systems. He is a member of Beta Theta Pi and dedicates his time to his chapter’s alumni association.
