Graves Garrett expands White Collar, Corporate Compliance Practice with partner promotion
Graves Garrett LLC has announced the promotion of a partner in its white collar and corporate compliance and investigations defense practice, as well as the addition of a new attorney to establish a corporate tax practice from its Kansas City office.
Kathleen A. Fisher has been promoted to the position of partner in the firm’s white collar criminal defense and corporate compliance and investigations practice groups.

Fisher’s practice is focused on representing individuals and businesses in a variety of government investigations including health care fraud, civil and criminal tax matters, civil and criminal forfeitures and other fraud investigations, including qui tam claims. She also commonly conducts internal investigations for corporate clients and handles criminal matters through the investigative, indictment and trial stages. Her practice also includes civil litigation and corporate compliance matters on behalf of business clients.
Prior to joining Graves Garrett, Fisher was an assistant prosecutor in the Buchanan County, Mo., Prosecutor’s Office where she led a variety of felony jury trials.
Fisher received her juris doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law. She received her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Missouri.
