Graves Garrett Welcomes Former Judicial Clerk Andrew Alexander to Litigation Team
Graves Garrett is pleased to announce that Andrew Alexander has joined its Kansas City office as an Associate, adding to the firm’s business litigation practice as well as its bench of attorneys with public service experience.
Andrew joins the firm with previous private practice experience in litigation ranging from shareholder disputes and commercial litigation to commercial real estate litigation in Kansas City, as well as Raleigh, N.C.
In addition, Andrew has served as a Judicial Clerk to the Hon. J. Thomas Marten, U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas. During law school, he also interned for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri in the Fraud and Corruption Unit and for the Hon. Fernando J. Gaitan Jr., U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Andrew is also very active in the community and has more than a decade of volunteer service in ministry and community music events. He is also an instrument-rated private pilot, and is an avid motorcyclist. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where he served as Lead Literary Editor of the UMKC Law Review and was named to The Order of Barristers.
