Graves Garrett’s Tompkins Presents at KCMBA’s Bench-Bar & Boardroom Conference

Recently, Graves Garrett Counsel Benjamin Tompkins presented at the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s 45th Bench-Bar & Boardroom Conference 2018 in Branson, Missouri.

Tompkins and Braden Perry of Kennyhertz Perry were co-presenters for a Continued Legal Education opportunity entitled “Cryptocurrencies: Evolving IRS, CFTC, SEC and DOJ Legal and Regulatory Issues.” The program focused on cryptocurrencies, blockchain and initial coin offerings becoming mainstream and how federal agencies continue to grapple with how to deal with emerging issues related to the technology.

Hundreds of Kansas City legal professionals attend the KCMBA’s Bench-Bar & Boardroom Conference each year. The three-day event offers networking opportunities, up 10 CLE hours and an awards dinner.
