Kansas City Business Journal names Nathan Garrett to Best of the Bar
Graves Garrett Partner Nathan Garrett has been named to the Kansas City Business Journal’s 2014 list of the Best of the Bar, which honors outstanding lawyers throughout the Kansas City area. Garrett was recognized for his strengths in the areas of white-collar defense, commercial litigation and False Claims Act.
A former FBI Special Agent and federal prosecutor, Garrett applies his unique experience and judgment, derived from years of extensive interaction with all levels and divisions of law enforcement across the United States and abroad, to his current representation of individual and corporate clients facing federal and state criminal, civil or regulatory investigations and litigation.
He has successfully represented high and low profile businesses, executives and individual clients through their most challenging times, while being keenly aware of the impact investigations can have on business brands and individual reputations at all levels.
“My father, a retired lawyer and judge, told me years ago to remember, no matter where another’s problem ranks in my life, it’s likely the biggest problem in their life. Treat it as such,” Garrett said.
This year’s Best of the Bar group includes 219 honorees who were chosen by their peers and specialize in dozens of practice areas, according to the Business Journal.
Graves Garrett, LLC, represents businesses and executives nationwide in commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense litigation, and all levels of legal compliance.
