As one of the commission members appointed by Gov. Greitens and confirmed by the Senate, Hurst and the commission will oversee regulations and policies regarding to the planning, monitoring, permitting, enforcement and grant assistance activities to carry out the objectives of the Missouri Clean Water Law. The Clean Water Commission also hears and resolves appeals of permits and staff decisions, and directs the use of state construction grant and loan funds.

Hurst is dedicated to the State of Missouri, as his practice at Graves Garrett. He offers unique perspective to clients, having served as a federal prosecutor and U.S Army Judge Advocate.
