Graves Garrett partner Nathan Garrett recently appeared on a Facebook Live video with members of the Kansas City Star’s editorial board to discuss matters associated with the Kansas City (Mo.) Police Department and the recent surge in violent crime. Garrett currently serves as president of the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners.

Prior to entering private practice in 2008, nearly Garrett’s entire professional career was associated with law enforcement. He served stints as a municipal police officer, Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper, state prosecutor, FBI special agent and federal prosecutor.
