Graves Garrett welcomes newest class of summer associates

Graves Garrett LLC is pleased to announce Claire Hausman and Sal Paris joined the firm as summer associates. Summer associates spend eight weeks working with the firm’s attorneys in a range of practice areas while receiving training, mentorship, and exposure to clients and casework.

“Graves Garrett is excited to welcome Claire and Sal to the firm this summer,” Graves Garrett partner Lucinda Luetkemeyer said. “We look forward to providing them with unique experiences representing firm clients in complex commercial litigation, high-stakes white collar defense and leading-edge constitutional advocacy.”

A native of St. Joseph, Missouri, Hausman is a third-year law student at the University of Missouri School of Law, where she is a Note and Comment Editor for the Missouri Law Review, and this marks her second summer associateship at Graves Garrett. She completed her undergraduate studies in English and history at the University of Mississippi, where she was a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

Paris, who hails from Kansas City and graduated from Rockhurst High School, also studies at the University of Missouri School of Law after graduating with a degree in justice systems and a minor in Spanish from Truman State University. A 3L, he also currently serves as Note and Comment Editor for the Missouri Law Review.

Prior to coming to Graves Garrett, Paris completed an internship and clerkship at two different KC law firms.
