Ingram’s names Todd Graves to prestigious list of “50 Missourians You Should Know”

Graves Garrett partner Todd Graves recently earned inclusion on Ingram’s magazine’s exclusive annual list of “50 Missourians You Should Know.”

Published in the August edition of the Kansas City-based publication, “this unique feature spotlights highly accomplished yet colorful residents who give the Show-Me State its unique flavor.” The editors noted in this year’s version “the numbers of exceptional leadership figures who hail from Missouri’s rural areas,” which includes Graves – a resident of Platte County with broad interests beyond his accomplished legal practice.

“Like the six generations of Missouri farmers who came before him, Todd Graves has that same spirit of independence — and, he admits, plenty of anti-authority attitudes,” his published profile reads in part. “‘I’ve always wanted to chart my own path,’ he said. ‘We formed this law firm over 17 years ago, and it’s among the best decisions I’ve ever made.’

“’We are at our best when we stand up to government authority or big business on behalf of a principled client. I want to be the attorney a client wants in their foxhole with them when things are bad,’” Graves also told Ingram’s.

Graves represents clients nationwide before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. His areas of experience include white-collar criminal defense, political speech and election law, internal investigations, regulatory compliance, and complex commercial litigation.
