Graves Garrett Greim names Brothers, Carr to partnership
Graves Garrett Greim LLC (GGG) is pleased to announce Paul Brothers and Chandler Carr have been promoted to partner, effective May 1, 2025.
“Paul and Chandler continue to play an instrumental role in a wide range of our firm’s most complex and consequential legal matters,” GGG partner Todd Graves said. “This election to partnership comes as a result of hard work and dedication to growing their private practices and skill sets. They enhance the unique advocacy we bring to clients in and outside the courtroom.”
As a former appellate clerk and state prosecutor, Brothers’ background gives him a unique understanding of investigative and prosecution priorities, helping him effectively advise clients. His extensive and varied litigation experience includes first-chairing jury trials on behalf of the Kansas Attorney General’s Office in a variety of cases.
Brothers’ current private practice involves representing clients in complex commercial litigation, state and federal white-collar prosecutions, internal investigations and campaign finance disputes. He assists clients in responding to government investigations and helps clients minimize risks before the government is involved.
A native of Clarinda, Iowa, Brothers graduated with honors from the University of Kansas School of Law, where he was inducted into Order of the Coif and served on the Kansas Law Review. Before law school, he earned his undergraduate degree in political science with a minor in criminal justice from Northwest Missouri State University.
Prior to his service at the Kansas Attorney General’s Office, Brothers clerked for Kansas Court of Appeals Chief Judge Thomas E. Malone.
Carr joined GGG in 2021 and has continued to maintain and develop a strong private practice focused on general business and commercial litigation. He represents plaintiffs and defendants at the trial and appellate levels in complex civil litigation matters ranging from contract disputes to class actions.
Additionally, Carr has accrued significant experience in insurance coverage litigation in courts across the country, representing corporate and individual policyholders in a wide range of industries and involving all types of coverage. He has experience advising public and private hospitals, physician groups, home health organizations and other healthcare entities on corporate, transactional and regulatory issues. He completed his undergraduate studies at Calvin University and later earned his law degree from the Pritzker School of Law at Northwestern University.
