Six Graves Garrett attorneys earn recognition in The Best Lawyers in America 2022 guide

Graves Garrett is pleased to announce three of the firm’s partners have again been recognized for their legal work in The Best Lawyers in America 2022, a U.S. News & World Report-sponsored peer review guide honoring top legal professionals for outstanding work. Todd Graves made the list for the 12th straight year, Nathan Garrett for the eighth straight year, and Eddie Greim for the fifth straight year.

In addition, veteran litigator and senior counsel Bradley Bodamer, who recently joined Graves Garrett, also claimed honors. Graves Garrett partner Dane Martin and associate Andrew Alexander were recognized in the guide’s “Ones to Watch” category.

Alexander (Commercial Litigation) is a first-time honoree.

Recognition by Best Lawyers is based entirely on peer review. The organization’s methodology is “designed to capture, as accurately as possible, the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area.”

A person receives recognition from Best Lawyers for his or her success in the legal industry within specific practice areas. Graves was honored for Commercial Litigation, Criminal Defense: White-Collar, and Litigation – Regulatory Enforcement (SEC, Telecom, Energy); Garrett for Commercial Litigation, Criminal Defense: White-Collar, and Qui Tam Law; Greim for First Amendment Law, Commercial Litigation, and Criminal Defense: White Collar; and Bodamer for Commercial Litigation.

Martin was listed under “Ones to Watch” for Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Defendants for the second straight year after the category debuted in 2021.

Graves represents clients nationwide before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. His areas of experience include white-collar criminal defense, political speech and election law, internal investigations, regulatory compliance, and complex commercial litigation.

Garrett focuses his practice on federal civil and criminal investigations, internal investigations, complex commercial litigation and False Claims Act (qui tam) prosecution and defense.

Greim’s practice includes free speech and election law, internal investigations, and complex litigation, and he has become a “go-to” lawyer on policy and constitutional issues.

Dane Martin represents plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts throughout the country. He is well versed on all aspects of civil litigation, including in class actions and other complex matters.

Bodamer boasts nearly four decades of legal experience prosecuting and defending claims in a wide variety of complex litigation matters and has first-chaired more than 30 trials to verdict in federal and state courts across the country.

Alexander’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, manufacturing and supply chain disputes, antitrust and competition law, and anti-corruption law.
